For tutors and weekend schools
For private tutors, and for schools that teach on Saturdays and Sundays.
EdSmartly writes lesson plans, practice questions, assessments and question ladders aligned to the curriculum your pupils follow, in English or Arabic, and you check every draft before you use it. A tutor with five pupils on three curricula, or a weekend school teaching Arabic to children who speak it at home, needs the same thing a full-time school does: good material, quickly, that matches what each child is learning.
Tutors
Use a personal plan. Nothing about it changes for tutoring.
- Personal, $7 a month or $70 a year: 200 generations a month.
- Professional, $15 a month or $150 a year: 500 generations a month, plus student practice sessions and SEN accommodation profiles.
Both start with a 15-day free trial, and after it the quick tasks stay free, 10 a month.
In student practice and report writing, a pupil's name is replaced by a code before the text reaches an AI model, and put back only in your draft. The privacy notice, section 6, says exactly what each AI model receives.
Weekend schools
The school licence is priced for schools that teach every day. If yours meets at weekends, tell us how many teachers you have and what you teach, and a person will reply within one working day with what we can offer.
Your teachers can try EdSmartly on a personal plan's free trial while you decide. Work made in a personal workspace stays in that workspace.
What tutors use most
- Practice questions and short assessments, set to one pupil's curriculum and level, with a mark scheme.
- Question ladders that move a pupil from recall to reasoning, one step at a time.
- Lesson plans in English or Arabic, or both side by side.
- Student practice (Professional): a pupil answers, and you see where their thinking went wrong.
