What you can do in EdSmartly
Seven instruments, plus nine quick tasks, in English, Arabic or both.
Some work needs your curriculum: a lesson that cites its objectives, an assessment with a mark scheme. That is what the seven instruments are for. Other jobs just need doing well and quickly: a worksheet, an email home, a rubric. Those are the quick tasks: pick one, say what it is about, and get a draft to check. No curriculum to choose.
Seven instruments, built on your curriculum
Each one starts from your curriculum, grade and subject. Every objective a draft cites is labelled Verified (from the curriculum on record) or Indicative (proposed), so you can see where each one came from.
Socratic Ladder
A 7-step questioning sequence that teaches by asking.
Lesson plans
Bilingual lesson plans mapped to your curriculum objectives.
Assessments
With a mark scheme; print them, or export to Moodle or QTI.
Report Writer
Parent-ready report comments from your own notes.
Weekly teaching set
A lesson, an assessment and a question ladder for one topic, in one click.
Student Practice
Guided Socratic dialogue with a student, run by the teacher.
Plan & Review
Support plans, term evidence and coverage maps.
Nine quick tasks, ready in one step
Three inputs: the grade, what it is about, and anything it must include. Leave students' names out; the draft writes [Student] where a name belongs, and you add it after you have checked it.
Worksheet
A printable practice sheet with an answer key, from easy to harder.
Try itParent email
A clear, warm email to a parent or to every parent in a class.
Try itNewsletter paragraph
A short class or school update parents will actually read.
Try itRubric
Criteria and four levels for any task, with a student-friendly version.
Try itExit ticket
Three quick questions that show who understood today, with answers.
Try itClass behaviour plan
Routines and calm responses for a pattern you see in class.
Try itRestorative conversation
A script to repair harm after an incident between students.
Try itLesson reflection
Turn a few notes on how a lesson went into next steps.
Try itAI-literacy mini-lesson
A 20-minute lesson on using and questioning AI well.

The same care everywhere
- You approve every draft. Each one is marked "not yet reviewed" until you approve it, and the approval is recorded.
- Students' details stay with you. Email addresses and phone numbers are removed before anything reaches the AI. Quick tasks, like the Report Writer, are written only by Anthropic or OpenAI models, and nothing you type is used to train AI models.
- Arabic written for Arabic readers. Every task works in English, in Arabic, or in both side by side.
- Your school's rules apply. The languages your school allows and its content guidance apply to quick tasks as they do to the instruments.
Free for 15 days, no card needed. Then $7 a month, and you can cancel at any time. One quick task is one generation; the Personal plan includes 200 a month. Your school can also license EdSmartly for every teacher; see pricing.
